Most already know... but I am happy to say that I passed my 10 year
Surgery Board Re-Certification Exam... It was a major challenge
since I only do surgery 1 day a week. I think this might be the last
time I take this test... I do not think I will want to do this when I am
53.

I was thinking about this from John and Brooke's perspective; it has
to be a little strange. Both Jen and I continue to "study" for tests and
Jen is going to go back to school. I wonder what we will be when we
grow up?

I heard from NASA since the last update, I was not accepted to
the 2009 Astronaut Class. I was initially SAD, I am used to getting
what ever I set my mind to :) ...I believe/know that all things
happen for a reason, so I knew it was for the best. Since then, the
President has pretty much killed NASA's space program. Now I am
glad I did not get accepted.

Looking on the bright side... I really love my work with the National
Cancer Institute and I have been taking on more and more
responsibilities.
My newest obsession is a Salt Water Reef Tank. I got one over the
summer and have since upgraded to a bigger tank. It is amazing, the
variety of fish: sea urchins, eels, 8 different types of coral, feather
dusters, three types of star fish, crabs, snails...

My job took me to London for a week
in January. Nice place to visit... Nice
to come Home. London has a great
Theater District, like Broadway. We
went to "Jesery Boys".... I am pretty
sure I was the only Jersey Boy
present in the audience.

I did not expect to like it....Great
Show.... Go see it is you can.
