Brooke has had a busy year. From getting a new bike (outgrew her old one) to learning how to do a split (which she does even better now). She is growing and learning and getting more beautiful every day!

She is loving the 1st grade... reading on a 3rd grade level and advancing in math as well. She only wishes school started in the afternoon so she wouldn't have to wake up so early! She is such her mother's daughter!
Brook really enjoys spending time with her grandparents (and great-grandmother). She and Gary made her Halloween costume this year--they actually started it in the summertime! She was very proud of it. Halloween was the first week that Dee Dee came to live with us, and Brooke had fun leading her around the neighborhood.
Brooke's having fun taking acting classes with her brother. She played a scientist from Whoville in a production of Horton Hears a Who this summer, and she is playing "Peggy" in Camp Rock: The Final Jam at Drama Learning Center. (Head shot at top courtesy of dad!) Her dancing is going very well. She has also started Karate lessons, which she loves. On the first day, her Karate instructor watched her doing a split, then putting her head right on the floor, and asked, "Brooke, are you a dancer?" She was thrilled!
